[Bug 1726362] Re: CONFIG_EFI=y on armhf

2019-02-14 Thread Brad Figg
This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves
the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-
bionic' to 'verification-done-bionic'. If the problem still exists,
change the tag 'verification-needed-bionic' to 'verification-failed-
bionic'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how
to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!

[Bug 1726362] Re: CONFIG_EFI=y on armhf

2017-10-25 Thread Dimitri John Ledkov
So i think I will need to create livecd-rootfs and grub2 patches and
this too. So let's aim at landing this in bionic, and testing everything
works there before SRUing this config change. grub2 backports might be
too intrusive, and thus this might be a bionic+ thing only.
