[Bug 1730765] Re: Mounted external devices do not appear in dock
Not really, as now an icon stays in the dock even if there is no connected device which is a bit meaningless. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1730765 Title: Mounted external devices do not appear in dock To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock/+bug/1730765/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I'd say this is a regression between 16.04 LTS to 18.04 LTS. [Bug 1730765] Re: Mounted external devices do not appear in dock
It's indeed another way, Daniel = it's not the same thing all ;-) - too many clicks - rely on a vanishing notification ( nothing should rely on notification ) - what is the meaningful link between clock and external storage ??? Icons in dock for external storage provide easier and quicker access : - only one click - it's right in front of your eyes ( from any window ) - no need to leave what you are doing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1730765 Title: Mounted external devices do not appear in dock To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock/+bug/1730765/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Confirmed, but there is another way.
