Bug still exists on Ubuntu 16.04.6. I simply opened the header file
/usr/include/GLFW/glfw3.h and modified the corresponding lines according
to patch.

We are using a LTS (long term support) release because we do not want to
upgrade to intermediate releases while still getting bug fixes. Isn't
that the whole point of LTS releases of Ubuntu?

This is already fixed in 16.10 which has glfw 3.2.1.
