[Bug 1751618] Re: bug with data transfer to USB devices
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.16 kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". Thanks in advance. [Bug 1751618] Re: bug with data transfer to USB devices
After I formated my flash drive as NTFS instead of FAT32, I was able to transfer all the files without any problems, but I can't format the external storage drives to NTFS to be able to transfer files to it. PS : I faced this problem with many kernel version and different distros not that kernel version only. Thank you for your support, and I hope you will fix it soon. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1751618 Title: bug with data transfer to USB devices To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1751618/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
