No, this error "$MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 28)" has nothing to do with boot mode - it's a file system issue that can be fixed sometimes by performing "chkdisk.exe /f" on that filesystem. Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted the installer in EFI mode. You either need to boot the installer in bios mode, or partition the disk using GPT and set up an EFI system partition to install in EFI mode.
