[Bug 1779949] Re: Unattended upgrade to kernel 4.15.0-24-generic kills bluetooth
Indeed, I can't see any evidence of Bluetooth hardware in the attached files. It should be mentioned under "rfkill:" or in CurrentDmesg.txt or in Lspci.txt or under "Lsusb:". Your wifi card is an "Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6205", which does not support Bluetooth either (https://ark.intel.com/products/59471 /Intel-Centrino-Advanced-N-6205-Dual-Band). Are you sure your machine contains Bluetooth hardware at all? If the hardware really is there then this would be a kernel bug (package "linux"). But it sounds like maybe you never had Bluetooth hardware and so it would be correct to not get an icon. ** Package changed: bluez (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1779949 Title: Unattended upgrade to kernel 4.15.0-24-generic kills bluetooth To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1779949/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
