[Bug 1780439] Re: Dual Monitor not detect on VGA
OK. Something is failing to detect your monitor(s) when plugged in. Next we need to figure out if it's Xorg's fault or in the kernel/hardware. To do this please plug the monitor in and then run: grep . /sys/class/drm/*/status And please send us the output. Please also try some different monitor cables/adapters because it sounds to me like a bad connection could be the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1780439 Title: Dual Monitor not detect on VGA To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1780439/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1780439] Re: Dual Monitor not detect on VGA
According to your Xrandr.txt your machine doesn't have a VGA port. It only has a built-in LCD, HDMI and/or DisplayPort. So please explain in more detail what the problem is. Do you mean you have plugged in a monitor and it's not working? If so then please plug it in again, run 'xrandr' in a terminal while it's plugged in and send us the output: xrandr > xrandragain.txt ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => xorg-server (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1780439 Title: Dual Monitor not detect on VGA To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1780439/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
