This is clearly unaccetable for Debian, as they ship iceweasel, not firefox. If you want to have a patch applied in Debian that makes this package a mere sync, provide a diff that is known to work on both Debian and Ubuntu. Or did I miss something, and the above will work fine for Debian's iceweasel? Hi Exactly, it needs always a change in Ubuntu.. because only changing the Depends on gcu-plugin isn't the only thing to change. What is the point of pasting debdiffs without addressing other people's question? The only functional part of the debdiff is simply adding firefox as an *alternative* of gcu-plugin's dependency.
