[Bug 1803587] Re: kernel from bionic did not get autoremoved by either unattended-upgrades or update-manager
In my tests u-u successfully removed the kernels as new unused packages even when hitting LP: #1803749 for the record. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1803587 Title: Update-manager does not remove autoremovable kernel packages _before_installing new (kernel) packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unattended-upgrades/+bug/1803587/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1803587] Re: kernel from bionic did not get autoremoved by either unattended-upgrades or update-manager
@vorlon: OK, being commented out (and not set elsewhere) makes it default to True. [Bug 1803587] Re: kernel from bionic did not get autoremoved by either unattended-upgrades or update-manager
@vorlon: OK, let's use this bug to track the improvement for u-m. While triaging I found LP: #1803749 , which you may have hit if you have Unattended-Upgrade::Remove-New-Unused-Dependencie set to False.
