I don't know if it is a bug or a feature. I cannot find information about
servicemenus in dolphin-kde4. Does dolphin in KDE4 support servicemenus? It
rumors. But in my Kubuntu Gutsy installation they don't work. There are no
standard servicemenus in /usr/lib/kde4/share/kde4/apps/dolphin and my menus in
~/.kde4/share/apps/dolphin/servicemenus/ aren't recognized.
So there are - for example - no actions to compress a folder and decompress it.
Starting ark is much more complicated. For me servicemenus have been a big
convenience factor of kde and I also used the possibility to tweak them.
So please: Make servicemenus work again in KDE4
