okay what i have realized in freshly installed 19.10 system is that the icons in the dock (changed to dock by dash-to-dock gnome shell extensions via chrome coz. i don't like the default left panel) can still be guessed by mouse-hover from above the other full screen application AND more interestingly those icon-apps can be opened by left-clicking the mouse when cursor is showing the icon-tags from above the other application window.
