[Bug 1853225] Re: Ubuntu sudo apt upgrade failed due to postgresql-common dependencies
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. The postgresql-common package in Bionic (the one that is failing to install in your case) depends on postgresql-client-common version 190ubuntu0.1, and not on version 190, as you can check for example from: https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/postgresql-common so it seems to me that the package information on your system is in some way out of sync. An `apt update` could be enough to fix it. Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: https://discourse.ubuntu.com/ Or if you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. ** Changed in: postgresql-common (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1853225 Title: Ubuntu sudo apt upgrade failed due to postgresql-common dependencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postgresql-common/+bug/1853225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
