Public bug reported: Hi, I installed Ubuntu 20.04 (Beta) on a new partition. At first, everything worked okay. Then I did my standard scripts after a fresh install like creating users, installing apps (like sambe, ...) etc. Then, after a while the whole desktops freezes. But the computer disc LED is on, so I do not reset the "crashed" thing. I notice that every once in a while (every few minutes) the computer proceeds for a split second. After many many minutes it is back to "normal" just to "freeze" again after a few seconds/minutes.
I managed to open a terminal to identify the process: it is "mx- extract". This is a process of the package "rygel" which is something like UPNP Server. I wonder if this process is somehow scanning my whole 2 TB data to somehow look for files to UPnP to the net??? Anyway: i had to uninstell rygel sudo apt remove rygel to get this problem "solved" (... worked around). This is a major bug in Ubuntu 20.04 (Beta) that "freezes" the whole computer!
