Hello Marco, or anyone else affected,

Accepted evince into focal-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/3.36.5-0ubuntu1
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package.  See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how
to enable and use -proposed.  Your feedback will aid us getting this
update out to other Ubuntu users.

Yep, that fixed it for both focal and groovy. The link I posted above
shows that there are no longer any untranslated strings in focal.

So all should be fine after next language pack update.

Hmm.. I don't think it does. Probably those strings, which I see are
translated upstream, were not imported because of the outdated POT file.

I'll make an attempt to fix it in groovy. That might fix it in focal
too.

I created a POT file and uploaded to focal manually to start with, and
now there are untranslated strings. ;)

to be honest I'm not sure why this has untranslated strings.
Upstream is complete, and this one has been correctly imported in Launchpad:
