Public bug reported:

i tested your ubuntu LTS 20.04 (focal fossa) via bootable USB stick.
testing was awesome.
I have:
Hewlett Packard 64bit
2 scsi drives internal
6gb ram
6 processors

drive 1 has windows 7 (running very slow) 1Terabyte in size
drive 2 (was) a backup of drive 1 but I changed that to being a separate drive.
 500gb in size
BOTH DRIVES ARE SCSI DRIVES. (NEW TECHNOLOGY THEN/ I USED THAT IN WORK COMPUTER
AT IBM AS WELL)

IN UBUNTU TEST RUN I SELECTED 2ND DRIVE AND IT SHOWED UNMOUNTED STATUS.

THEN I SELECTED FOR "INSTALLING UBUNTU" FROM THE MAIN WINDOW.

IT RAN A LITTLE AND THEN CRASHED. NOTED A POSSIBLE FAULTY DRIVE. THERE
IS A POSSIBILITY IT MAY HAVE VERY LITTLE FEW BAD SECTORS. BUT I HAVE
USED IT OFTEN IN THE PAST.

IF YOU THINK THE FEW BAD SECTORS WERE STOPPING INSTALLATION, DO YOU KNOW
WHERE I CAN GET ANOTHER "SCSI DRIVE"?

I WILL TRY WWW.NEWEGG.COM AND ALSO CONTACT HEWLETT PACKARD TO SEE WHO IS
THEIR SUGGESTED OLD PRODUCT VENDOR.

MOST HUMBLE REGARDS,

HANDICAPPED - I DO BETTER IN CONVERSATION INSTEAD OF WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS.

Title:
i was installing UBUNTU from bootable USB install option on screen
while testing out UBUNTU. It ran well. So I tried to install it on
2nd hard drive that was empty. Old scsi drive.
