Apply NVME_QUIRK_NO_DEEPEST_PS to your device like [1].

Then follow [2] or Google around on how to submit a patch.

Thanks. Would it be possible to send a patch upstream? Or do you want me
to do that?

2020-12-11 Thread Claus Ar.
Yes. I changed my NVMe slot. But the change
'nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=5500' has proven stable on both
slots.

attached dmesg.

below the output of the lspci -tv command.

[Bug 1906949] Re: ext4_find_entry:1531

2020-12-10 Thread Kai-Heng Feng
Hmm, did you change NVMe slot or enabled/disabled some PCI based
controller? The NVMe was :09:00.0 but in the last one it becomes
01:00.0.

Please attach `dmesg` and `lspci -tv` again.

2020-12-06 Thread Claus Ar.
nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=5500 has given me a full 12hrs of no
freezing, where i have done the same things that caused previous
freezes. hope this proves useful.
