[Bug 1914610] Re: Causes video signal out of range
FYI, I was able to undo the damage. It looks like a bad refresh rate was set. Operating System: Kubuntu 20.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 Kernel Version: 5.4.0-65-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor Graphics card is NVidia Quadro 600. Monitor is connected to the DVI-I port. I deleted Gl-117, but Synaptic offers version 1.3.2-3build1 (focal) I'm able to use my computer by pressing the "Escape" key during boot, then selecting a Recovery Mode. The resolution is poor, and graphics are stretched horizontally. Also, some games run in slow motion. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1914610 Title: Causes video signal out of range To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gl-117/+bug/1914610/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1914610] Re: Causes video signal out of range
I'm reported this using an older computer. But, at this time, I'm unable to try using the monitor from this computer on my computer. The old monitor uses VGA, and my computer does not have a VGA port. I should not have to buy or change hardware as the result of a software bug.
