If it "fixed itself" perhaps a little log out/on was all that's needed. I changed it. Actually lximage-qt also doesn't respect the theme. ** Description changed: I wanted to have a dark theme for Lubuntu. I installed a custom GTK theme called Ultimate-Plata-Dark-3.36 which is quite dark. This only affected apps that used GTK. As per the instructions in the LXQt Appearance Configuration window, I selected the 'gtk2' Qt style after install qt5-style-plugins. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. In the title, & package the bug is reported against, you have said `pcmanfm-qt`, but in the description your refer only to `pcmanfm` which is a different program/package.
