Public bug reported: Summary: When installing Kubuntu, the password inputs don't appear when choosing "physical volume for encryption". After creating the partition, the password inputs also don't show, making impossible to install Kubuntu with manual encryption. After a while, an error appears: "unable to create the keyfile".
Steps to reproduce: 1. In the Kubuntu installer, create a partition and choose "physical volume for encryption". Expected results: The password inputs should appear, just like in Ubuntu installer. ** Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "kubuntu installer vs ubuntu installer" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1930122/+attachment/5501000/+files/image.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1930122 Title: When installing Kubuntu, the password inputs don't appear when choosing "physical volume for encryption" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/1930122/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
