Hello Robert and thanks for this bug report. The attached logs show errors like: Cannot stat file /proc/4232/fd/5: Permission denied Cannot stat file /proc/4232/fd/6: Permission denied Cannot stat file /proc/4232/fd/7: Permission denied Cannot stat file /proc/4232/fd/8: Permission denied happening during the upgrade process of mysql-server-8.0. These are pretty strange and the problem is not reproducible from a fresh install. Without steps to reproduce the problem, there is little that can be done on this bug.
