@brian-murray Brian Yes it is strange indeed- as noted in comment #5 I can no longer reproduce the issue. Tested Impish dailies Kubuntu,Xubuntu and Ubuntu 05-09-2021 on boxes Dell Optiplex 7040 and Dell Optiplex 7040 and was unable to reproduce the bug. ** Description changed: Installing Xubuntu Impish daily 27-08-2021 - Dell Optiplex 7060 connected to internet via ethernet connection + Dell Optiplex 7060 connected to internet via ethernet connection (this + is a bare metal box not a VM) The installer fails to recognize the connection and does not offer to download updates etc. this also results in failure to select correct timezone.
