Confirmed on Dell D820. It does seem to be there when I boot, but the battery charge remaining just doesn't update, and it doesnt give me any time estimates. Same problem, Acer Travelmate 2451LCi. Got caught out by this again, any news on this being fixed? Mm.. It was working fine (hal 0.5.10-5ubuntu6) until last hal update. The update to 0.5.10-5ubuntu7 is when i get this problem.
