Using the lastest Ubuntu release 10.4 I don't have any problem with this. Same here Set the fonts to smaller size but some headers in web pages are not affected!!! My desktop appreance is using fony size 9 which is a little tiney but perfect for me... I agree: Icon sizes are fixed. Font sizes are still wierd - some much too large some too small. I can't see any pattern... Icon sizes seem work for me in current hardy. Font size is still wrong with some content (like launchpad), where e.g. the bug title and comments are huge, but my name and the actions column on the left is displayed fine. If I do ^- to zoom out, there is still disproportion (actions almost unreadable, regular text is normal). I confirm this with firefox and epiphany as well as of today. Total display (dualhead) width is 2464x900 and I attach some screenshots. Firefox has icons in menus scaled wrongly as well, whereas epiphany does fine hear.
