Hi Guys, If you are running hardy, care to try installing linux-backports-modules which has updated versions of the iwlwifi drivers. To know which version of the driver you currently have use modinfo. For ex: modinfo iwl3945 Please let us know your results. If the issue still exists, care to confirm this is still an issue with the latest Alpha for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10. You should be able to test via a LiveCD - http://www.ubuntu.com/testing. Same problem here with a IBM Thinkpad T40. * Wifi is resetting now and then, on a WEP wifi network. Connection is lost for a few seconds. * But when I suspend the laptop, then when resumed the wifi seems to be on, but I cannot ping or anything. * I tried disabling the wifi via special keyboard Fn Key (Fn+F5), then rmmod ipw2100, lsmod ipw2100, Fn+F5, but still ifconfig shows no IP (IPv4) for eth1. Network-manager is still showing correct IP... It seems I have a slightly different behaviour on hardy: I still have the messages above in /var/log/message, but then the computer completely freezes. I can only hard-reboot to get out of it.
