ok,I have been able to track down the error to be EGL grab screen from NoMachine related. After uninstalling the aplplication, the desktops works ok again. I cannot reproduce this due to the lack of hardware. Could someone else please try to reproduce this? Also logs could be helpful. Please sudo dmesg > dmesg.txt journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt run journalctl -f | tee > system.log in a terminal until the crash happens. can ctrl-c out of it. I can't find any related bugs on bugs.kde.org and it seems like a rather huge one...
