Marking this as 'in progress' since it hasn't been uploaded yet to -proposed, we unfortunately have overloaded semantics for the 'fix committed' status. Regarding Alexander Sack's instructions to reinstall, I found that this worked ONLY IF I closed Firefox first. I just ran into this issue when testing firefox-2 (2.0.0.13+1nobinonly-
0ubuntu1) in a lvm snapshot volume. The first install went without
problems. After purging the package and trying to reinstall the error
