Mark this bug as invalid because it seems to occur only when printing through a Debian CUPS print server and not directly from Ubuntu. Can you attach a PDF file which you do not succeed to print? Can you also start system-config-printer and activate the option "Save debugging information for troubleshooting" on the "Server Settings" tab and then click "Apply". Then cancel all hanging jobs on your printer(s) and try to print your PDF file again.
