Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

Description:
The problem happens on clean install of hardy beta. It is traditional chinese
(Taiwan), but the problem is unlikely be related to locale. In hardy beta
everything is fine, as I can surf web and write things here. I aware there are
many updates, so I applied all updates from Synaptic.

After reboot for applying updates, my computer cannot access network.
The eth0 is fine, but it cannot utilize wired network. The computer have
no wireless network access despite my router support it. On trying to
configure the network, it keep saying it is "protected wired network"
and either paraphrase or password is needed.

I cannot solve the problem alone without network access. I can't report
bug by the bug reporting software. Even the O/S does not realize there
is a bug. I had to reinstall everything. I applied all updates except
four:

dhcp3-client 3.0.6-dfsg-1ubuntu6
dhcp3-common 3.0.6-dfsg-1ubuntu6
hal 0.5.11-rc2-1ubuntu5
hal-info 20080317+git20080318-1ubuntu1

For those related packages, I am extracting the results of running command
apt-cache policy):
(The first one means already installed, and the second one means available
today and to be installed)
