Hi, I am the original poster of this bug, after the latest Ubuntu Hardy updates (ubuntu-modules was updated), suspend now WORKS, but it is slow. Exactly the same problem here. Running Hardy dist-upgraded almost daily. Suspend working for months, but after upgrade to 2.6.24-14 resume from suspend stopped working. I am not sure I got it right, so here is one more... Maybe I should explain a bit better. Computer suspends fine but on wake up, it freezes with a black screen after a second of disc activity (both hard disc and dvd rom).
