Sure, see the attachment. After manually removing mythtv-database.postrm I could uninstall, thanks. I've had the same error. Repeatable every time I try to remove via Synaptic on 8.04 Ubuntu. I was going to try and set up a myth app and decided I wasn't ready for it yet. Everything removed okay except the myth TV database component. I'm very new. Afraid I won't be much help but if you need me to do anything you can always send SPECIFIC instructions and I'll be glad to try.
