No it is not. The tooltip says this: Spellcheck The 'What's This' says this: Checks spelling manually. My appeal was technically incorrect in that I used the term tool tip for help baloon. My fault. Please accept the observation that both look very similar for an excuse. Anyway, this does not change the fact that help baloons are unavailable for menu items. Menu items are self-descriptive so don't need a description unlike icons which have no way to determine what they are. I believe that this bug has been corrected in Ubuntu hardy openoffice.org 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu2 so I am marking it as Fix Released. If after upgrading you continue to have problems with this issue then feel free to reopen this bug.
