[Bug 224544] Re: nautilus dav:// protocol [8.04]

2009-03-10 Thread SK
I have same problem and command line example above is not working. Using
Ubuntu 8.10. In windows I connect to MS-Sharepoint server like this:

\\CompanyServer\\Main Documents

On Konqueror like this (with success):
webdav://CompanyServer/Main Documents

In Nautilus I tried all the following with no success:
dav://CompanyServer/Main Documents
dav://CompanyServer:80/Main Documents
dav://CompanyServer:8088/Main Documents

I also tried command line with no success:
gvfs-mount dav://CompanyWeb/General%20Documents

2009-02-16 Thread Pedro Villavicencio
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04?
Thanks in advance.

[Bug 224544] Re: nautilus dav:// protocol [8.04]

2008-06-30 Thread Mark McCoy
This looks like it is possibly related to bug #115156
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-vfs2/+bug/115156),
which has to do with compiling gnome-vfs2 against gnutls instead of
openssl.

[Bug 224544] Re: nautilus dav:// protocol [8.04]

2008-04-30 Thread A. Walton
This is most likely a GVFS problem, so I'm moving it there.

Debug information would be great. If you could get a Wireshark capture
of the session and see if this problem persists if you use gvfs-mount to
mount the dav location that would be very helpful.

here is a dump from wireshark:

included is operations:
- mount with 'gvfs-mount'
- browsing with nautilus
- download with nautilus
- save with gedit (fails)

good hunting!

[Bug 224544] Re: nautilus dav:// protocol [8.04]

2008-04-30 Thread dynnamitt
I just did

'gvfs-mount dav://localhost:8088/webdav/db'

..and it mounts without any (error)messages... (going back into nautilus I can
now see the new mount)
I can browse the dav BUT the write issue remains. (Create Folder is working)

I haven't tested with Wireshark yet(need to read a bit there).. but it
seems that 'gvfs-mount' is working. Are we sure this is only an gvfs-
mount problem? The HTTP ERROR during mount only happens from within
nautilus.

[Bug 224544] Re: nautilus dav:// protocol [8.04]

2008-04-30 Thread A. Walton
Hmm. The dialog might be a Nautilus problem (trying to access a GIO
location before mounting, which is definitely a Nautilus problem) but
that will need some hunting. Please note that GEdit hasn't been ported
to GIO yet, so it's really not a great test application in this case.

I'm assuming it is a GVFS error mainly because Error: HTTP Error:
No+resource+or+collection+found looks quite a bit like something that
would come out of the GVFS Dav daemon. If you can still browse and read
files on Dav shares, then it looks like we're doing our job so far. We
need to check with Christian Kellner upstream to see if there's a known
issue as to why you'd get that dialog, so I'm CCing him.
