[Bug 225391] Re: Audacious plays only one song in playlist, must skip manually
actually mv .config/audacious .config/audacious-play-next-bug solves the problem (although all playlists will be lost) actually after using diff I found that I had to edit ~/.config/audacious/config [audacious] no_playlist_advance=TRUE obviously this has to be deleted (like when deleting all settings and starting audacious anew) or set to FALSE. Actually this option can also be toggled in playlist-no playlist advance [Ctrl+N] this explains why it was suddenly set. I'm used to Ctrl+N for opening a new window, so then I tried that instead of Ctrl+T for opening a new playlist. [Bug 225391] Re: Audacious plays only one song in playlist, must skip manually
Sorry for reopening, but this describes my problem perfectly. I have Audacious 3.5 (Debian package) an it worked yesterday. I don't remind changing anything in the system since then. Problem: Terminal: audacious Drag and drop music folder into audacious double click on first track (or Playlist- Play This Playlist [Shift+Return]) 1st track plays (optional: skip forward to 5s before track ends) track ends and next one doesn't play (double click on next or press skip and play) ^ this manually skipping shouldn't be necessary and wasn't before yesterday If anyone knows which log would show me relevant information to this problem I can look that up. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225391 Title: Audacious plays only one song in playlist, must skip manually To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/audacious/+bug/225391/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Same issue here. It seems it only happens with mp3's. Also had this problem on Hardy (x86) version (1.5.0). Doesn't even affect ALL songs, but certain ones. Weird. Thanks, this workaround works. [Bug 225391] Re: Audacious plays only one song in playlist, must skip manually
Hi Jan, I got exactly the same problem. At first I thought it must be an issue with the pulseaudio output plugin in hardy but it was not. What fixed my problem was to disable the bypass all signal processing ... in the audio preferences. now audacious advances to the next song without a hitch.
