[Bug 230015] Re: aMule SVN 2.2.0~svn20080510-0ubuntu1~ppa1 crashes on 64 bit system
This should be fixed in amule 2.2.2-1ubuntu1 (Ubuntu 8.10). For Ubuntu 8.04 see bug #244670. ** Changed in: amule (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Fix Released -- aMule SVN 2.2.0~svn20080510-0ubuntu1~ppa1 crashes on 64 bit system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230015 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 230015] Re: aMule SVN 2.2.0~svn20080510-0ubuntu1~ppa1 crashes on 64 bit system
It seem to me that a workaround is to enable the following options, in preferences - message filters: - Filter incoming messages - Filter all messages - Filter comments but, unfortunately, I don't know why... However, amule is not crashing anymore. I can confirm this ugly behavior on my AMD64 machine (Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64): it crashes quite often. Any workaround? A fatal error has occurred and aMule has crashed. 2.2.0~svn20080510-0ubuntu1~ppa1 isn't from the Ubuntu repositories, so I'm closing the bug. Feel free to reopen it if you find this with a package from the Ubuntu repositories. ** Changed in: amule (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- aMule SVN 2.2.0~svn20080510-0ubuntu1~ppa1 crashes on 64 bit system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230015 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
