I have the same issue with Jaunty *and* Karmic. Here is the packages list for my Karmic install : audacious2.1-1ubuntu1 audacious-plugins 2.1-1ubuntu1 audacious-plugins-extra 2.1-1ubuntu1 pulseaudio 1:0.9.16~test6-3-g57e1-0ubuntu2 The ALSA Output Plugin (-ng) goes just fine. This is still happening in Jaunty. PulseAudio selected in Audacious, buffer size changed to everything from 200ms to 3000ms with no effect. Hi, mcas, The version of Ubuntu I use is Hardy (8.04). The issue occured from the beginning (when I installed Hardy). Currently, the version are: audacious: 1.5.0 (package: 1.5.0-2ubuntu2~hardy1) audacious-plugins package: 1.5.0-1ubuntu1 audacious-plugins-extra package: 1.5.0-1ubuntu1 pulse audio packages: 0.9.10-1ubuntu1 These are the latest versions in repositories now, but, as I stated before, the issue occurs since installation of Hardy Heron.
