[Bug 235595] Re: package xserver-xorg-video-voodoo 1:1.1.1-5 failed to install/upgrade:
Every thing worked out ok. I'm now on 8.10 on three of my four machines so upgrade issues from 7.10 are not any problems anymore :-) Thanks. -- package xserver-xorg-video-voodoo 1:1.1.1-5 failed to install/upgrade: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235595 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Johan, did you follow Timo instructions ? Is it still an issue. [Bug 235595] Re: package xserver-xorg-video-voodoo 1:1.1.1-5 failed to install/upgrade:
it was a problem in the old nvidia-glx package, which didn't handle file diversions correctly. Purge the package so you'll be able to update the rest of the packages correctly, and then reinstall nvidia-glx. 7.10 won't be updated anymore, so I'm closing this bug. ** Changed in: ubuntu Sourcepackagename: xserver-xorg-video-voodoo = None Status: New = Won't Fix -- package xserver-xorg-video-voodoo 1:1.1.1-5 failed to install/upgrade: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235595 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
