I can confirm that the fix here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=476300 when applied to the Intrepid .deb will fix this bug on an Intrepid x86 system. I don't see any changes made to the debian sid package. Confirmed, also on Ubuntu Hardy x86_64.
