[Bug 237035] Re: partition scheme makes /boot too small
Hrm... after rotting for nearly a decade, I'm going to go ahead and close this bug report out. If anyone can reproduce this on a modern release and provide more details about the disk layout, feel free to reopen. ** Changed in: partman-auto (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237035 Title: partition scheme makes /boot too small To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/partman-auto/+bug/237035/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 237035] Re: partition scheme makes /boot too small
Fair enough - that scheme should be tweaked for Ubuntu. Note, though, that we don't normally recommend using the "Separate /home, /usr, /var, and /tmp partitions" unless you have unusual requirements and know what you're doing. There's a reason it's hidden away and only available in expert mode, also known as "an installer developer told me to do this" mode ... ** Changed in: partman-auto (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: debian-installer => partman-auto Importance: Undecided => Low Status: New => Triaged -- partition scheme makes /boot too small https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237035 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
