[Ubuntu 8.10] Just tried to reproduce it under ru_RU.UTF-8 locale, no fonts disappearing noticed. abiword 2.6.4 Ubuntu 8.10 ru_RU.UTF-8 locale I couldn't reproduce this problem. Could you take a screenshot? Also try to delete your Abiword profile (~/.AbiSuite folder) and check this problem once again. I opened Abiword and typed some text in Times New Roman. I changed to Bitstream Vera Sans, typed some more text. I then changed back to Times New Roman and typed some text. Perhaps this is a translation issue? My system is set up in English, United States. I tried to reproduce this bug using Xubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 with Abiword 2.4.6. Is your version 2.6.4 or 2.4.6? I can not reproduce this, Times New Roman is listed in the fonts menu. Ubuntu 8.04. Times New Roman exists in menu until you choose another font. I dont have that problem. I have times new roman as default as you say. Then i select another font. Ubuntu 8.04, AbiWord 2.6.4 from the repo.
