Gutsy is no longer a supported version and since Hardy we have had the Firefox language packs inside the distro language packs. I think we can safely close this. I used the same workaround as Nicolas, so this is not an issue *for me* anymore. Hello, I experienced the same issue during the passage from Firefox 3.0 to Firefox 3.0.1 : all the menus were in english. I solved the problem by reinstalling 'language-support-fr'. By the way, the packages 'mozilla-firefox-locales-XX' should really depend on Firefox 2, not only on 'language-support-XX' : they are incompatible with Firefox 3, and this is misleading because it's still possible to install them having only Firefox 3.
