Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I have latest Hardy with latest updates. On my laptop the gnome-power- manager doesn't do any actions when critical tresholds for the battery charge are reached. It doesn't hibernate when action treshold is reached and it never reports that critical battery charge treshold has been reached. It ignores all the settings and does anything. This causes the laptop to work on battery until it dies causing possible data loss. This is an unacceptable working condition because this bug can cause data loss so please check this issue or help me to resolve the problem. I had Gutsy before and there gnome-power-manager has performed actions on critical battery charge conditions, for me this bug is introduced somehow by Hardy. Thank you! ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-power-manager is not performing any acton on critical battery condition in hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/249323 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
