Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? [Bug 255256] Re: Colapse to bottom tool bar, minimize/maximise and close have dissapeared from top tool bar.
I am having the same problem, too. But I can see my windows in the bottom bar and right click on them to close them. Restarting does nothing for me and I did nothing special in last days to have this problem. I have screenlets running ok and compiz fusion. [Bug 255256] Re: Colapse to bottom tool bar, minimize/maximise and close have dissapeared from top tool bar.
I am having the exact same problem. I have downloaded every download and had fun tweeking and configuring everything i could get my hands on. Unforntunatly my girlfriend doenst like using alt tab to switch between applications and I dont know what I did to mess it up. When I minimize any application the icon disaperes making it impossible to click on with the mouse. So when my girlfriend minamizes facebook and opens a new window to myspace she loses the browser! Like I said it stays open somerwher and I can access it with alt tab. I will give more information if you tell me what you need. thankes. I love Ubuntu and everything it stands for. Also the close session button brings up the close, restart etc menue but the close button doesn't work requiring me to hard close the session by switching off the electricity supply - not every time but about 50% of the time. > Thanks in advance. Thank you for taking your time to file this bug and help to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately your description is not complete or clear and we need additional information to start working on this bug. The above description shows package as mozilla-thunderbird. Does your bug happens only with thunderbird window or happens with every window you open in your desktop? You also mention that you can't maximize or minimize your window, can you explain why? Does the windows have close, minimize, maximize buttons? Does the window have a window border with title on top, etc.? Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- Colapse to bottom tool bar, minimize/maximise and close have dissapeared from top tool bar. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
