Benjamin, In 10.10 audacious doesn' t crash anymore. Unfortunately I cannot test 8.10 anymore if its still there. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test Audacious 2.3 from the latest stable Ubuntu version (10.04) or the current Ubuntu development version (10.10). That's a long time ago I've posted this bug. Well today I do not use tracker at the moment. I just tried searching with Audacious in Karmic and it works.
