Public bug reported: Binary package hint: acidrip
I would like to rip my DVD, recorded with my mini-DVD webcam, with ACIDRIP (version 0.14-0.2ubuntu) but the ripping isn't ok as acidrip rips my DVD with wrong aspect ratio (in the video settings I disabled crop and scales options so the movie should be ripped with no size modification). In fact my DVD has only 1 title and one vob file that it's 720x576 but the DVD movie has aspect ratio = 16:9 (1024x576). Either totem or acidrip preview shows it correctly (so they prescales ok with the .ifo files contents) but with wrong size info. Totem in fact shows a size of 720x576 (see bug #261168). The results is that the output file of the DVD ripping is at 720x576 size (4:3) while my DVD is at 16:9 I think that the problem is due to the fact that acidrip only reads .vob size and doesn't read .ifo DVD files. ** Affects: acidrip (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- acidrip rips DVD with wrong aspect ratio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/261173 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
