** Description changed: - Binary package hint: kernel-build-2.4.27-2 + Binary package hint: kernel-build-2.6.27-2 Dell 8400 (not a laptop). Nvida Gforce 7300, Createive Audgy LS, 8.10 Alpha-5 Live CD, standard video driver. Executed a sudo /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force command. System went into sleep mode. However upon pressing power button, system appeared to come back (USB hot, drives spinning, etc.). However, the LCD monitor was dark with no power. Same condition with standard Ubuntu 8.04.
