Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
kernel: 2.6.27-4-generic Ubuntu: Intrepid(8.10) Gnome: 2.24.0 nvidia-drivers: 173 gnome-panel: 1:2.24.0-0ubuntu1 I use the proprietary nvidia driver for my 8600M GT. I got here 2 Monitors, which run on separate x screens, configured via the nvidia-settings tool. If I click a application launcher on the panel of my second screen the gnome-panel crashes(on both screens). The panel doesn't do anything from then on, clicking on it anywhere results in nothing, all other dekstop applications stay alive though. this happens with and without compiz.
