[Bug 279336] Re: imwheel crashed with SIGSEGV in memcpy()

2009-11-18 Thread Dragisa Krsmanovic
Error on Karmic:

INFO: imwheel started (pid=2466)
Setting IM through im-switch for locale=en_US.
Start IM through /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL linked to
/etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default.
/usr/bin/xmodmap: unable to open file '/usr/share/apps/kxkb/ubuntu.xmodmap'
for reading
/usr/bin/xmodmap: 1 error encountered, aborting.

Also, imwheel intermittently stops working on Karmic. I have to issue imwheel
-k to get it to work again.
I am not sure what the error is. I noticed it usually happens after I lock the
screen or display goes to sleep after inactive period.

Starting imwheel manually works fine.

[Bug 279336] Re: imwheel crashed with SIGSEGV in memcpy()

2008-10-22 Thread Joakim Andersson
I was having this problem in Intrepid beta (amd64) with latest updates.

imwheel crashed every time I log in when it was set to start
automatically in /etc/X11/imwheel/startup.conf. Starting it manually
after it crashed worked just fine.

However, adding imwheel to my gnome session instead of using the
startup.conf file solved the problem. Perhaps deprecate startup.conf?

memcpy() on every startup when logging into gnome. My system is 8.04,
2.6.24-19-generic i686. Imwheel 1.0.0pre12-7.
