[Bug 284311] Re: bluetooth-sendto should remember last directory

2010-04-07 Thread David N. Welton
The bug is with a program in the Ubuntu operating system. If Ubuntu
doesn't care to fix it, that's fine, but don't pretend the bug does not
exist.

Hello David,

No one says the bug doesn't exist bug rather none will care to fix the bug.
If you do want to fix it, please reopen the bug.

Thanks

[Bug 284311] Re: bluetooth-sendto should remember last directory

2008-10-16 Thread David N. Welton
It's most definitely a 'wishlist' type of item! There are far more
important things out there. I did find it irritating enough to file a
report about, though.

I also discovered that it's possible to use the program directly from
the command line with the name of the file I want to send, even though
the man page doesn't tell you this.

Filing wish lists within Launchpad doesn't get you anywhere. You should
talk to upstream.

[Bug 284311] Re: bluetooth-sendto should remember last directory

2008-10-16 Thread Onkar Shinde
There are two ways you can use sendto.
1. Right click the applet, select the menu and then navigate to the directory
where the file is kept.
2. Navigate to the directory in nautilus itself. Right click the file and
select 'Send to ...' and then option Bluetooth (Obex).

In any case your current request is more a usability issue and of type
'Wishlist'.
