Public bug reported: Binary package hint: conky
I upgraded my Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 on last Saturday. I set the CPU frequency policy to be 'performance' in the gconf-editor (apps > gnome-power-manager > cpufreq > policy_ac), however, every time I boot the computer, it always adopts the policy 'ondemand'. I installed the cpufreq-selector and added the module acpi-cpufreq to /etc/modules, but no helps. ** Affects: conky (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- can not change CPU frequency policy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292982 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
