I haven't seen this issue in a while now. I'm using Rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.3. The file was stored locally. Checked the new debug log now that it works against the old on and no difference. Ok added the debug report, also one on the offending files to see if it can be duplicated. It may just be a problem with the file not rhythmbox.
